About Denise

Denise Cory Hart is a Wholistic Wellness Coach, Healer, Intuitive, Artist, Innovator, Visionary Entrepreneur. 

The modalities that Denise offers create balance for the body, mind and soul as a lifestyle.

Denise started her journey into the ways of wellness at age 19, in Boston while attending the Boston Museum of Fine Arts College. After experiencing migraine headaches, it was the advice of a co-worker, whose father no longer had cancer, due to adopting whole foods as a way of life; when her family took classes at the Kushi Institute in Brookline, Ma. After learning this, Denise enrolled at the Kushi Institute, to be trained in Whole Foods Culinary, a two-year program. Part of her training was learning valuable components to eastern medicine, such as meditation, shiatsu massage and medicinal cooking. Denise was so intrigued by all her positive changes, she soon was a believer of "we are, what we eat".

Denise continued her wholistic journey, to learn and integrate, a colorful spectrum of natural ways to wholistically balance and harmonize the body, mind and soul. Some of the modality trainings she is adept in are: Sound and Vibrational Energy Clearing and Balancing; Emotional Releasing and Balancing; Mindful Practices; Soulful Wisdoms; Shamanic Journeying Meditation and Nature Connection; that help support raising our consciousness, to learn the story of our wholistic blueprint, purpose and much more.

Denise owned a Beautiful Crystal Wellness Boutique, Star Light Hawaii Crystals & Treasures, on the Big Island of Hawaii for 12 years and lived on the island for 18 years. She introduced the concepts of energy wellness to 1000’s of people from all over the world, yearly visiting her beautiful and enlightening boutique.

Most of Denise's customers did not have a knowing of 'energy, crystals, sound healing they would wander in as tourists with amazement to feel how "peaceful" they became, and then find themselves being "drawn" or called" to crystals. Denise was educating daily, and even had medical doctors, nurses, professionals, from all walks of life feel and purchase crystals and want to learn more about energy, healing and becoming more spiritually evolved.

Denise,s small 350 sq. ft. boutique specialized in crystals, and energy wellness products, and services.  Customers would return year after year; eager to experience more -- many became clients, that Denise still works with remotely today.

Through an unexpected stressful turn of events, outside of Denise’s control, she was forced to lose her crystal-wellness boutique. Then entered, the 2020 shutdowns. Denise knew her fate was sealed to move off the Big Island, to the "mainland." Denise knew inherently there was a silver lining of a blessings in disguise; to what was at that time, financially devastating to her. With hope and faith in her heart, she left Hawaii with seven suitcases, her daughter and 2 fur babies as they flew over the big ocean, and landed in Durango, Colorado. One year later Denise was “called to Virginia” where she lived her first three years of life. She made the big drive, arriving on July 4th, 2022.

Denise recently opened a Wellness/Art Studio in Greenwood, behind Greenwood Antiques Store, close to Crozet. Denise loves to inspire people to live a more balanced wholistic wellness lifestyle, that works best for the individual. She brings the spirit of Aloha from Hawaii to Virginia. Everyone that has experienced Denise’s Energy Tune-Up sessions, are amazed at how much better they feel after, with on-going positive outcomes. Profound experiences have transformed her clients. Many clients love to return weekly. When living a very hectic lifestyle, there is a need to replenish and restore the the body and mind after a week of massive outpouring of energy.
